The Commissioner > Structure
The basic structure of the Commission is specified in Chapter III of Royal Decree 2668/1998, dated 11 December, which approves the Statute of the Autonomous Body of the Tobacco Market Commission

- President of the Autonomous Body, which constitutes the highest governing body
- Vice-President of the Autonomous Body
- Advisory body: Advisory Committee of the Tobacco Market Commission
- Subordinate units of the Office of the Vice-Chairman with responsibility for economic-financial and regulatory duties and for the provision and management of services. Current areas are as follows:
- Market Control and Regulation Area
- Market Inspection Area
- Retail Network Maintenance Area
- Economic-Financial, Budgetary, Personnel and General Services Area
- Audit Office
